Our project is spearheaded by seasoned professionals with experience in the architecture of consensus mechanisms, randomness research, real-time data services, investment banking, digital securities, traditional stock exchanges, big data, doctoral academia, big 4 consulting, blockchain/DLT, and DeFi. What we're looking for
Our team is looking for a talented Developer Advocate to define and build out our Developer Relations program. You’ll establish strong relationships with developers by crafting clear and easy to use resources to help them build on SupraOracles. You will champion developer interests, and translate their feedback into actionable insights for our product and engineering teams. The candidate will have an opportunity in interacting with the brightest Cryptography researchers and work with highly talented engineers in building a robust blockchain platform from scratch. The candidate will get to apply their growth strategies for our community around breakthrough Web3 concepts in challenging real-world settings.
Responsibilities
- Create and deploy the Developer Relations program, including but not limited to:
- Manifesto
- Developer Relations structure (grant program and mentorship)
- Create and operate the community on Gitter/GitHub
- Partnerships with the Rust Foundation, Skillsmatter and many more
- “Product” ownership in front of all stake holders (marketing, engineering, business development, compliance)
- Developing high quality onboarding resources such as demo apps, code templates, technical guides, tutorials and blog posts
- Presenting at developer conferences, hackathons, boot camps and other developer workshops
- Supporting developers, understanding their challenges and translating feedback into actionable insights
- Hosting podcasts and other developer engagement sessions on Discord and Twitter to grow our community (webinars, workshops and hackathons)
- Growth of the Staking/Delegation/Nomination program
- Partnerships with leading validators (i.e. Blockdaemon, Infstones, Staking Facilities)
- Creation of a Validator Pool (Exclusive club)
- Developing onboarding resources such as technical guides, tutorials and blog posts
- “Product” ownership in front of all stake holders (marketing, engineering, business development, compliance)
- Create and deploy the go-to-open governance path over X years from the Foundation perspective, including but not limited to:
- Governance Design
- Voting
- Educational content
- Tech design to support the governance model

Are you the right person for this role?
The ideal candidate for us has:
- 4+ years actively engaged experience with open-source projects
- Demonstrated passion for blockchain, crypto, and web3
- Proficiency in programming languages especially in Rust/Move
- Experience in working with GitHub codebases
- Working knowledge of developer tools like SDKs and APIs
- Proactive, strong written and verbal communication skills. Enjoy writing for a developer audience (e.g. blogs and documentation)
- Comfortable in public speaking and attending hackathons/webinars
- Resourceful, self-sufficient, and able to work with internal and external stakeholders
